March 1st - March 7th:
- Mon - 0 mi - resting the legs, 1st day of track practice
- Tue - 8.54 mi Brentwood YMCA loop before practice.
Weather was great, run felt nice and smooth - for some reason though still
getting blisters on heels, getting annoying...although I do have a few more
tricks I will try and see if that changes. Cruised along to the ipod
as I made up this new loop.

Easy run, legs a little stiff at the start. Ran into Bryce out there
after about half mile into run, turned around and ran with him as he
finished up, then continued on my own run making up a random loop - figured
I would shoot for 35-45 min worth as I was pressed for time to get food
before working at noon. Run felt good once I got into it, but still
need to figure out what I am doing mechanically as the blisters are an issue
and it is getting old pretty quick.

River trails before work easy, 12mi long run from parents place late

March 8th - March 14th:
- Mon - 0 mi
- Tue - 6.1 mi @ Forest Park before practice. Great
run - got 12 hours of sleep the night before, plus a 1 hour nap, then headed
out for my run...my body finally was able to catch up from the busy weekend.
Weather was very nice - in the mid 50's despite a nice strong head wind.
A lot of people out and bout today, just cruised to the ipod and let the
legs loosen up some.

WORKOUT before work, 4mi @ parents after work for shakeout.
- WORKOUT = 10min easy run, 5x 3min
on / 2min off, 10min easy run. Kept it all on the trails, as for the
3min segments I covered anywhere between .55 to .6 mi worth, then just
jogged easy on the 2min portion to recover. Included lots of hills,
felt good overall. Finished off with 10min easy running back to the
car - actually worked out perfect for the distance covered by the time I got
back to my car. I took splits only at the end of the 10 min and then
the end of the 25min segment...just let the splits run together on the
garmin for the mile splits....the final one involved the biggest hills.

- 24:59 = 6:02, 6:10, 6:14, 6:33
- 10:00 = 6:53, 3:07
- 30:00 @ 7:30 avg - 7:41, 7:32, 7:20, 7:27. Easy
shake-out run for the legs after a very busy work day...legs just felt
exhausted and it was good to just get out and move them a little bit.
Goal was to just run 30min and happened to work out perfectly for the
distance as well.
- Thu - 7.71 mi @ Kimmswick loop. Easy run after
track practice through Kimmswick and up to Arnold before heading back along
route 67. Nice run - VERY hilly which was kinda nice in a way.
Legs felt pretty good - switched out to a different insert which seemed to
reduce furthering my blister issue on the heels...we shall see how this
works out in the long run of things.

- Fri - 6.3 mi @ River Des Peres loop before work.
Easy run with the iPod, running down past Gravois and crossing over the
bridge and then back up via the gravel path to Lansdowne and then back along
the paved path. All in all a good run, although felt a bit stiff at
the start...gotta love morning runs! Body just wasn't awake that

- Sat - 3.3 mi @ Francis Park loop from apt before work.
Ran shortened version of loop and only once around Francis Park - felt good
but pressed for time. No watch on this run.
- Sun - 17 mi | 12mi @ Forest Park before work for a long
run, running 2 loops around park. Felt good overall till needing a
bathroom stop just after mile 8 which caused me to slow briefly, then back
on track. Busy day at work and then 5mi shake-out run from parents
place that night which went surprisingly very well after that 1st mile.
Ran to the iPod as I made up a new loop that came out perfect to a 5 miler.

and ended it feeling good.

March 15th - March 21st:
- Mon - 8 mi @ Best Buy loop from parents before work.
Made a new version of this running through subdivision first and then
instead of going up Rustic Valley I went down to Big Bend and took that
around and then the normal Best Buy loop...a perfect 2 miles up till the Big
Bend intersection and then from there it was a constant uphill basically for
the next 3.5 miles till I was on Manchester Road....towards the end the urge
for restroom came on quickly. Great weather out, sunny!

before work "Mickey Mouse" loop. Ran into Bryce between 2-3 miles into
run, he joined for a little bit before heading on to finish his run.
Easy run on the trails which was perfect! 7.12mi after work
from parents home as I made another new loop - felt very good surprisingly
and the final bit picked it up just a bit.

run effort, very easy. 5.02mi CH Social Run since track practice was
shorter today - ran without a watch on this but know the distance...felt
good for the most part, little stiffness from working all day though.

run to iPod and no watch period, just shaking the legs out - weather was
- Sat - 5 mi @ FE Social Run. Over slept and was late
getting to the run. Body felt really good though upon waking this
morning in the legs perhaps due to not running in the evening last night...a
little more refreshed? Either way, wore the ipod and decided to push
it a little on this run and let the legs turn over a little more and see
what happens - GREAT run as everything felt good, even despite the 2 big
hills. My fast miles didn't really feel that quick as things went
smoothly, very nice overall.

Great weather, ran in just shorts and went in reverse on the perimeter loop.
Felt good and run quickly turned into a semi-tempo run for 6 miles, then
after that I opted to just go to an easy jog for close to 2 miles as a cool
down portion to work out the legs.

my new arm warmers on this and they worked wonderfully! :) Body
felt sluggish at first, slowly it opened up and felt somewhat okay the rest
of the run

1.5mi on social loop then cut over via trails to Fenton City Park for one

after work by running German loop and then Subway loop and finished with
4x150m strides on track.

back out and got in ~7.75mi on Grant's trail from their house to out past
Clydesdale Park and back wearing regular watch and timing it.
